The Temple of the Neon Basilisk Genesis Cult

The neighborhood fixer, "Padre," shows up at Batu's Bodega looking for the PCP crew.  The 3 founders happen to be out on business, but two new members, Skal and Ia, are hanging out and offer to manage Padre's job.

Padre has been hired by a local gang interested in taking down a drug lab that is cutting into their business. The lab is hidden within the Ziggurat of the Temple of the Neon Basilisk Genesis Cult.  Skal realizes the cult is comprised of Nano worshippers, so he enters as a nano-infected worshipper with his faithful robo dog Scratch and Ia acting as his muscle. 

The team initially attract attention from the Nano goon guards, but are able to throw them off by dancing with the raving worshippers in the main hall for an hour straight.  They eventually are able to sneak downstairs and dispatch an assault rifle wielding guard.  They almost effortlessly clear a room full of Nano-Goons in a hail of autofire and robo dog bites, syncopated to the deafening techno drops happening upstairs.

Ia peeks under a door with his gun scope and they witness a horrifying scene with a large altar in front of a swirling tableau of black nano bacteria, swarming in a convoluted spiral.  There are two nano cultists kneeling in front of the altar while tendrils of the nano goo siphon away their bio-energy and flesh, fueling the mother culture.  An intimidating Nano Herald officiates the complex ritual.  The team decide to sneak away, though they are pretty sure the herald knew they were there.  As they proceed down the hallway, they are struck by a swampy fishy smell.

They explore further, eventually coming upon a chamber with bas relief carvings depicting the fall of humanity and rebirth into the nano swarm hive mind.  They move on to another large chamber with 3 giant plexiglass pools filled with genetically modified lotuses blooming on the surface and swarming with venomous snakehead fish.  They sprint through the room blasting with autofire as they dispatch several Nano-goon workers while also spectacularly shattering the pools.

They barely make it to the opposite door after getting blasted with the remaining goon's chill of the void nano power.  They see the goon swarmed by snakefish as they narrowly slam the door shut before the onslaught of venomous snakes sliding their direction.

A swig of red-juice gets Skal back in the game as the team explore further, eventually finding the main lab where the lotus pollen is being processed into Pink Ooze by a hazmat wearing Nano Goon.  Both punks are successful in a toughness check to not be intoxicated by the shocking amount of Pink Ooze in the air.  They quickly dispatch the worker and grab a large amount of Pink Ooze to sell later.

They once again dispatch nano goons in the next room in massive autofire, somehow conserving their mags through pure force of luck. 

The chaos in the grow room brought the wrath of the Nano Herald, who manages to track the team down as they are contemplating how to escape.  He hits them with psychic knives, nano-powers, and corrupts Scratches jaw closed.  Sadly for the Herald, he is then taken down a peg when Skal gets a critical hit on him with an assault rifle.  He fails a morale check and attempts to flee with a shred of life remaining and the team gun him down mercilessly in the back as he flees.

Skal is drawn back to the Nano Culture at the altar.  The two cultists are now stripped to bare skeletons.  Skal decides to touch the culture and try to communicate but has a critical fumble and ends up with an infection that almost kills him  in a bright flash while giving him a permanent eerie glow and radiation.  The team loot the Herald's personal quarters and then flee before backup might arrive.
